mhd is an award winning firm of solicitors formed following the merger of the Leith based firm of Mowat Dean WS and Anne Hall Dick Solicitors, Glasgow. mhd continues to have offices in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Family Team have several specialists accredited by the Law Society of Scotland in Family law and accredited mediators. Both mhd and the individuals in it have been regularly identified by independent agencies as leaders in the field of family law. They advise on separation, divorce, cohabitation, civil partnership and all issues affecting children. They offer a full range of support including negotiation, mediation, collaborative resolution and litigation.
